Expanding my boundaries by doing a more simple project.
For the longest time, I’ve avoided building accent tables because they seem a little too simplistic. It also doesn’t help that I’m a very practical person and if I’m going to have a piece of furniture in a room, I’d rather be able to store stuff in it. So, in an effort to make myself try something new, I came up with the design for this small table. The design is loosely based on some shaker tables I’ve seen but it also kind of fits the mid-century modern style, either way, I really like the design.
The final conclusion from this project, I’m still not a fan of building accent tables but I’m more open to the idea and may even build a few more.
